FOUNDING AND EARLY PROJECTS .

The company “AS commerce-STAN d.o.o.” was founded in Belgrade in the spring of 1994, during a period of significant economic and political challenges. From the very beginning until today, the company has focused on preserving cultural heritage and reconstructing old buildings, restoring them to their original splendor. Although the first few projects were completed in Belgrade, a large portion of this period was marked by work across various regions of Yugoslavia. Despite limited resources, the company earned a reputation for high-quality and reliable construction work, laying the foundation for future growth and development.

Expansion and technological advacement .

Between 2006 and 2011, the company achieved significant progress in technical capacity and the implementation of modern construction methods, expanding into new markets and diversifying its projects. The company successfully executed various construction works, including both public and private high-rise buildings. A highlight from this period is the complete reconstruction of Belgrade’s oldest hotel, Hotel Moskva, originally built in 1908.

Integration of new construction and reconstruction .

During this period, the company significantly increased its involvement in new construction, strengthening its presence in the development of residential and commercial buildings while maintaining a strong focus on reconstruction and restoration. By successfully combining these two sectors, As-Stan set new standards in construction quality and client satisfaction. 2014. In 2014, the company was entrusted with the interior reconstruction of the historic Belgrade Cooperative Building, originally built in 1907, marking the beginning of the Belgrade Waterfront project.

Since 2018, As-Stan has continued its successful development, built upon the knowledge and experience accumulated over the past decades, as well as continuous improvements in machinery, workforce, and business operations. This is reflected in the diversity of projects completed in this period, ranging from the restoration of culturally significant buildings (such as the Officers’ Cooperative Building from 1908) and monuments of cultural heritage (such as the Ministry of Transport Building from 1931), to the construction of numerous new residential and commercial buildings in Belgrade.
